Maths!

Hello! This week for Maths we had 3 task to do! You first had to do this task where you have to use a rubix cube face that Mr. Jones gave us. Reading!

Hello! This week for reading we are finding out all the strategies that we use to read a text. We first had to write down all the meanings to the strategies, then we had to chose a text from our class library and pick 2 strategies. The reading task was a big task but im glad I finished it before the due date! :) I did kind of stuggle with it but it wasn't that bad! The two strategies I picked was making connections and summarizing it. Here is my finished work! This is my work Bye! <3

Maths

Hii! This week for maths we had to work on this maths sheet Mr. jones gave us. The focus was: To revise our learning from the year. We first had to SMRF the slide so we can write on the slide. On the sheet there was Algebra, Measurment, Number practice, Decimals and Fractions, it was a little bit of everything! :D Here is a picture of my finished maths sheet :)

Writing a recount

Hii! This week for writing we are doing a recount! We used a burger template so we could structure out our piece of work. We had something to write about, it was "Write about a time when you showed responsiblity" I first made a copy of it, then I placed it the right folder. I didn't make my writing to long because if you write a lot in each burger filling the burger filling will just boom into a new page. Here is my piece of writing though! :3

Maths Tesselation

Hello! This week for maths we have been doing tesselation! We are suppose to make a pattern using this app. The app didn't have all the shapes I wanted but thats okay! My pattern looked really wierd at the bigining but got a lot better when I got used to using the app :> When I saw my out come I was like- Ooo I was really impressed of what I made! Here is a picture for you to see! ^^

Here is my picture of it! While I was doing it I thought to use black and make an area with the rainbow colours in order :) you can kind of see that I created a potion like thing. I thought to myself it looked like a chemistry class background! I did enjoy creating this pattern with this amazing app! I hope you liked it!' Bye :3

Writing

Hello :) I have made a public service announcement on a slide! The teacher told us to make one so I did ^^ I first decided to make the covid 19 background and then I made a big textbox and wrote some rules to like- follow :) I really liked my public service announcement :) Here is a picture of what it looks like!

Maths :]

Hi! This week for maths we had to design this Tivaevae thing! :D The teacher gave us two types of instructions and a video. I used the second type of instructions and the video to help me out a bit for the things I didn't really understand. I couldn't find any coloured paper in my house, so then I went to grab my origami paper's. I took two of the same designs but different coloured paper out. One was pink and the other one was orange! Here's the intructions so you don't get confused :3

This is what the intructions looked like! While I was doing it I got confused on step three (Not the draw a design) I got confused on the cutting bit, I didn't know where to start cutting. So then I went to watch the video. I watched it a few times until I got it :D It took a bit long to cut because I was going quite slow. Once I finished I opened it up and it looked a bit funky- Then we had to glue it to our second paper. I grabbed my glue stick and glued it a lot of times because it didn't want to stick to the paper. Here is my finished one :)

Writing!

Hello! The school holidays are over now! This week for writing we had this create task where you had to create a responsible poster! I decided to make the poster on google drawings! I first tittled my drawings called "Responsible poster!" After I tittled it I thought about something that was responsible to do. I first came up with some idea's but those idea's were more on the respectful side than responsible, with a little more thinking I got an idea that was a responsible one. It was Taking care of your property, don't let others take care of yours. :D While I was decorating it I did run out of some idea's so it is kind of epmty but I did add more and more things to it! Here is a picture of what it looked like (The final product) :3

Disconnect Friday :D

Hello! Last week friday we had Disconnect Friday instead of friday. We had a disconnect task board for us to finish! Here's a picture of the task board :D

On the task board you could see so many exciting activity's! We had a must do and I did complete it! Next we got to decide some things we wanted to do like baking, Nature Walk and Book Creator. I chose to do two of them the baking and the Book creator! I did the book creator first but I accidently threw it in the trash- D: (I decided not to do it again) Then I went to do the baking :D We had to make cookies! Writing week 8

Hello, This week for writing Mr. jones put up five task for us to finish! Those task were kind of like pobble. Task one was to highlight the ajectives and the verbs and the adverbs in the starter bit Mr. jones wrote. Task two was to carry on the story bassed on Mr. jones starter. Task three was that we had to imagine if we were a god what would we control. Task four was to think about the picture Mr. jones gave us. Task five was to re-write the sick sentences! But I'm only going to share task two today! Here's a picture of my work I did for task two :D

Rube Goldberg Machine!

Hello! Lask week friday we had a choice of making a Rube goldberg machine! So I Decided to make one. I grabbed jinga blocks an Lol suprise ball ( Don't ask why, I thought it might come in handy- and it did ) and some lego and my favourite marble and a handy thing from one of the games I got when I was in room 25! The first machine I made was quite short and boring so I decided to make a better and longer one. After making a longer one I went to test it out, the rusults were that the marble just stopped half way ( Which I knew was not suppose to happen ) So then I needed some help to get it moving further. So I asked my sister and she said all I needed was some ramps so she made some ramps using lego! After finishing it we went to record it and send it to our teacher!

Equivalent Fractions!

Kia ora, In room 13 Mr. jones added a new math task! Which is, Equivalent Fractions! Its kind of like the other math task I did. So we first had to smrf it, then we had some examples just to get an idea of what equivalent fractions are. Then we had to try some ourselves 'yee :3' Here's a picture of my finished work!

Converting Fractions To Percentages

Hi! Today I started working on the new math task. It was a task where you needed to Convert fractions into percentages. We first had to make a copy of google sheets, then we delete the copy of and write our name. When you finished that our teacher gave us 3 different examples and on the fourth one it said I had to try and work out the percentage of this fraction so I did! Then we had three more columns of fractions that we need to turn into percentages. Here a picture of the finish product. :D

This was my finish product. I don't know if things I did was correct or not but I did it anyways! The converting fractions to percentages did get harder and harder. But I managed to finish it! Bye!

Writing challenge!

Hello! Today we got a new task and it was a Writing challenge! The Writing challenge was... If our toys were to come alive whilst you were asleep what would your toys get upto? Since I really like challenges I thought I could do that task fist! So I first created a doc and I titled it as "Writing challenge" After that I picked a font that I liked and started my story. The first paragraph was about what they would do while I'm a asleep. The second pragraph was about them tidying up the mess they made. The third paragraph was about When they finished their little party. Here's a image of my writing I did when it was complete! :D

Inquiry!

Hello! This week for inquiry we are studying on one particular animal! The animal I choosed was a Koala! When I first started it, I did it on a google doc but later on I thought google slides might be better. So then I opened a new slide and started putting the things that were on my doc on my new slide! I really enjoyed doing it and now I'm finished! With some finishing touch ups I inserted some images a videos! The teacher only said to do up to 8 slides but I thought maybe ten slides because I had great idea's of what to put on it! When I was half way through my 9th slide I forgot that I had to put it in one of my folders. So then I went on my drive and went to put it in a folder, But then I didn't know which folder to put it in. Thats when I know I had to go on the new google classroom and add a class comment. When I wrote my need. I sat there and waited awhile hoping that someone will answer soon! After a few minutes... The teacher answered! He said to put it in our projects folder. So then I just moved it in my projects folder and finished off the rest! :D

Speeches!

Hi there! Speeches are here! Room 13 has curruntly started there speeches. First we are just thinking of a topic for our speech and i've already got my topic ready. I also wrote down the three points about it. I didn't choose to go into the compitition because I didn't really like the theme. The compitition theme was "dyversity" There was a few people in our class who wants to enter the compitition. I hope that the people who are entering the compitition make a good effort and make our school proud! I'm probably going to struggle on my speech but that doesn't give me a reason to not do a speech. :D

Tool kits!

Hi everyone! Today was the day where we present our tool kits! it was very exciting and i was kinda scared speaking. It was very funny when i accidently ripped my friends script.
